Sepulture Conception July 18 2003 RL more: rave.ca
4:20am-600am Insomnia. Owners took for ever to show up. When they did the space was not ready for a party. They had not even moved aside unneeded furniture. Upset, we took all our gear and marched from downtown to the plateau with the crowd and finished the set(s) at charlie's house.
Punk Raver Kids August 30 2003 RL more: rave.ca
1:00am-2:30am Insomnia. The owners gave RL another free night to apologize for their previous ill preparedness. We had a long set at a better time. The crowd was small in size but largely enthusiastic. Both Sepulture Conception and Punk Raver Kids were Renegade Legion parties.
Party de Noel 2 Satan Clause December 26 2003 IMX more: rave.ca
11:00pm-12:00am Tango Hall. The IMX crew asked us to play because they felt we suited their dark holiday themes. At first we were disappointed with the early time slot. In the end it worked in our favor because we were sick with a virus that night. We managed to show up and play some hard tunes.
Friday the 13th Vs Valentine's Day February 13 2004 IMX more: rave.ca
11:00pm-1:00am Tango Hall. It would seem IMX favors our music earlier on in their evenings. That was made up for by giving us two hours to play around with. We played more hard tunes and after, we stayed for a bit and drank heavily. This set was recorded by Jason Hendrik on a DV camera.
Noah's Ark February 20 2004 RL more: rave.ca
10:20pm - 1:00am Tango Hall. This was our first set using a midi controller and laptop instead of CDJ's and samplers. Noah gave us cart blanche for the first three hours of the party. We took the liberty to go through a variety of our tunes and had a good time.
The Final Bash May 1st 2004 after dark more: rave.ca
12:00am - 1:00am 1619 Williams. Although this would be our last event to date, we knew that we had found a new direction in sound for the atomic children. We had our largest crowd yet and it was more or less well received. After this party atomic children would leave the rave scene altogether.
Psycho Kittie Cite Sousterrain March 23rd 2005 CKUT more: rave.ca
12:30 - 1:45am CKUT. Interview and music played. The first time we went some of our discs didn't work in the old CD players. Nevertheless, DJ Psycho Kitty enjoyed our antics and had us back a second time a few months later. We played her our favorite songs.
LIVE jam rehearsals 2005-2007
atomic children are unsure of what type of venue would best suit the music. All previous experiences revolved around the rave scene, forcing AC to comply with certain standards. AC want to have their own events which would have a line up of DJ and performance music.
